Burns, M.D., a clinical psychiatrist, conveys his ideas with warmth, compassion, understanding, and humor unmatched by any other writer in the self-help field. His bestselling Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy has sold more than three million copies to date. In a recent national survey of mental health professionals, Feeling Good was rated number one—from a list of more than one thousand—as the most frequently recommended self-help book on depression. 0 internautes sur 0 ont trouvé ce commentaire utile.Un livré très utile pour les situations au quotidien (thérapie cognitive)Par zzluzzPermet de comprendre et se reprendre dans les situations fréquentes de la vie (identifier les penses automatiques et parasites qui influencent notre état d’esprit négatif général).Les conseils faciles à appliquer.J'ai surtout bien apprécié le chapitre sur la gestion de l'agressivité. J'ai appris faire face à des personnes agressives (comment répondre pour les calmer et sans s’abaisser) et gérer les conflits (ne pas se laisser influencer par les réactions automatiques et émotives qui importent les parties , mieux écouter et ne pas se sentir critiqué).L’auteur a fait plusieurs livres sur le sujet, il expose donc bien ses idées d’une maniéré structurée.La qualité de l'impression est bien inférieure à la qualité de Feeling good Handbook (de même auteur) par exemple. Ce livre est plutôt de petit format à lire partout, le Handbook est de grand format, plus agréable pour travailler avec mais moins pratique dans le métro.
